Whether you are a prospective student from another college or university excited to transfer to SSU or a continuing transfer student already here, academic advising is critical to your academic and personal planning process. Similar to counselors at community colleges, Transfer Advisors are available to support your academic and career planning, as well as the overall transition into college. Note that Transfer Advisors are available to help with General Education advising and registration transactions (searching for classes, enrolling in classes, dropping classes) – major advising is done with the respective department advisor.
Drop-in advising (20 minutes each) is offered intermittently 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Appointments (40 minutes each) can be scheduled between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday-Friday, based upon advisor availability.
For more information about drop-in advising or to schedule an appointment, please visit us in Schulz 1125A, email email@example.com, or call (707) 664-2730.
